Metamorphosis

Tim Zimmer has been legally dead for two years. He let his family grieve him. He let his best friend grieve him. In the meantime he built SuperNova, a nightclub with no name on the door that moves from city to city. People find it because someone brings them, and inside, marvels can stop hiding for a night.

Then an anonymous tip sends Tim to a facility where marvels are kept in cages. He walks in front of the security cameras and says his name.

Half a world away, Mark Green watches the footage. His best friend is alive and has not come for him. Mark’s skin has begun to give off light, and his power is still climbing.

In a basement under SuperNova, under clamped work lights, Tim is building a new reactor. It is sized for one man.
